With 100 years of history, Portugália began as a small counter on Avenida Almirante Reis, serving beer and snacks while customers waited for their kegs to be filled.

Eighty years later, the "Balcão" concept was reborn in shopping centers across the country — and the brand continues to expand in Portugal. Since the opening of our first franchise store at Dolce Vita Coimbra (now Coimbra Alma Shopping) in 2014, we’ve grown to an impressive 25 locations, bringing our iconic flavors and excellent service to customers from north to south.

Portugália Balcão brings the best of the Cervejaria to the food court, with a modern twist. Our signature steaks with Portugália sauce, delicious croquettes, and classic “prego” sandwiches are just some of the specialties served with friendly and fast service.
